An eBay listing for a pink iPhone has people on major tech sites speculating about whether or not Steve Jobs suddenly developed breast cancer. Well, not exactly. But it’s funny how the writers of major websites like Engadget and Shiny Shiny are either bad researchers, or feed the rumor mill on purpose for the hits. Anyway, it turns out that the rumored pink iPhone might only be one of many iPhones protected by third party back cover housing such as this one. With the back cover housing on, it looks like the iPhone just got a very good paint job but really, it isn’t anything worth posting about.
Macworld 2009 is happening in less than a week! Wonder what new product will be unveiled for our consumption.
