Apple to Announce New iPod Nano at September Keynote

Since Microsoft is coming out with an HD Zune on September 15, it’s only natural that Apple should release some hot new iPods at around that time. On September 9, Apple is hosting a press event called Let’s Rock to announce a new iPod Nano. It’s not confirmed yet, but the new iPods are said to have OLED screens, cameras, social network features on iTunes 9, and the new Cocktail feature which puts together full-length albums and interactive content. Aside from the new iPods, Apple CEO Steve Jobs will also be appearing at the September keynote. He hasn’t made a public appearance since October of last year due to health problems but he’s been back at work since June and will most likely be unveiling the new iPod Nanos himself.
