The company’s commitment to fostering an inclusive culture is evident in its support of Spectrum Philippines, an employee resource group for LGBTQIA2S+ team members. Through collaboration with Spectrum Philippines, TELUS International recently organized a drag brunch to celebrate the LGBTQIA2S+ community and showcase local drag kings and queens, including Miss Jamie, a transwoman and TELUS International team member.

Jamie’s journey within the company exemplifies TELUS International’s dedication to inclusivity, as she received full support from her supervisors to pursue her passion for drag while advancing in her career. Alpha Venti, a non-binary genderfluid drag king, and Savvy Tan, a femme-presenting lesbian drag queen, are also breaking barriers and creating space for gender minorities and women in the drag world.

TELUS International Philippines goes beyond celebrating Pride Month by implementing inclusive policies and practices. Restrooms and sleeping quarters are designated as self-identified male, female, and gender-neutral across all sites, and benefits extend to same-sex and domestic partners. The company conducts HIV awareness sessions, provides SOGIE 101 training, and ensures fair recruitment and promotion processes based on skills and competencies.
