Sony P Series Netbook

Sony has been teasing the curious public lately with photos of a new VAIO that is so small, it can fit inside a woman’s purse. And you know just how tiny our purses can get. The new VAIO P series is going to be the smallest in Sony’s notebook lineup and features an 8-inch display, a resolution of 1600×786 lit up with LED backlight, an Intel 1.33GHz processor, up to 60GB storage (or 128GB storage) and Windows Vista Home Premium or the Home Basic OS. It will also have Bluetooth, WiFi, and mobile broadband support. The known specs suggest that the VAIO P will most likely be a 10-inch long notebook. Still no news on pricing and when it will be released to the general public, but I have a feeling the VAIO P series will make an appearance at CES 2009 at Las Vegas on January.
