Could bite-sized tablets be the biggest thing to hit the market? Personally I don’t see the point of owning a tablet that’s too small to display anything well, but it seems to be a new trend. Take for instance the ViewSonic ViewPad 7x, which is less than a pound heavy and only 7-inches long, and among the first tiny Android Honeycomb tablets to hit the market (the others being the HTC Flyer and the Acer Iconia Tab A100). Despite its diminutive size, the ViewPad 7x packs a couple of good specs. It has the same 1 GHz nVidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor other regular tablet haves, a 1024 x 600 resolution 10-point multi-touch display, HDMI output, front and back cameras, and a HSPA+ modem. I’d still rather get a regular-sized tablet though, but anyone looking for a portable Android tablet might want to consider this one. Check out the video to see the ViewSonic ViewPad 7x in action.
