PSP Carnival Colors Tempts Consumers into Buying New PSPs

I don’t know why Sony felt the need to go crazy with a paintbrush and spit out the Carnival Colors PSP line. Maybe they thought clown-ish colors would be more attractive to consumers and boost up their sales? Specs-wise, the blue, red, yellow, and green PSPs have nothing new. They’re just…brighter than the previous PSPs. Beginning March 5 in Japan, the new colors with a 2200mAh battery will be selling for a tax-inclusive price of ¥19,800 ($223). ¥24,800 ($279) will also get you a 4GB Memory Stick PRO Duo (Mark2), wrist strap, PSP pouch, and cloth bundle. No news as to when the Carnival Colors will hit the Western world.
