The Sony Vaio X series laptops are sure to be on a lot of people’s wish lists this holiday season. Touted as the world’s lightest laptops, the Sony Vaio VPCX113KG/B and Sony Vaio VPCX117LG/B are super-slim devices that are as skinny as models with an eating disorder – each weighs only 1.6 pounds and is just over half an inch thick. The best part about the Sony Vaio X laptops is that they’re way cheaper than the Macbook Air, and it’s not because they’re made of cheap stuff, either. On the outside, they’re made out of sleek, shiny metal. On the inside, they contain the following specs:

The Intel Atom Z550 and Z540 are said to be underpowered processors but other than that, the Sony Vaio X laptops seem like pretty solid machines. Available now at all Sony stores in Megamall, Park Square, and Mall of Asia.
