The Sony Vaio has always stayed ahead of the competition in terms of design – just look at the Sony Vaio P and how it resembles a designer clutch purse more than an ultra-portable notebook. With the release of the Vaio Type C in Japan, you’d think that Sony was venturing into designer crocodile bags! The C in Type C in fact stands for Crocodile and its sexy exterior makes this sleek laptop now high on the lust list of any fashion forward individual. And the Type C doesn’t end at the form factor; it’s got some pretty decent specs like an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, up to 500GB hard drive, 8GB RAM max, WiFi, Bluetooth, and an NVIDIA GeForce 9300M graphics card. However, I doubt that anyone outside Japan will ever own a Sony Vaio Type C. Following the footsteps of the biggest name in fashion, Sony is making a limited amount of these faux Croc-skinned laptops and doesn’t seem to be interested in an international release.
