I played with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and covered the Samsung Unpacked a few weeks back. Thursday was the product launch itself here in the Philippines at the SM Aura which they called “Dot-Circle-Box” because this is one of the newest feature of the Note.
Dot-Circle-Box –simple and clear and all you need to remember to understand what the Note 3 can do for you. Dot – is the dot on the screen when you hover the S pen . When you see the dot, the air-command shows up. Circle – With the circle, you can capture and organize content in one place. Box – The box allows users to multi-task and have the same app open in two windows.
What is exciting are the colors that came along with this latest Note. My favorite is the blush pink. With interchangeable flip covers in 10 colors, and 6 metallica colors , there is now a wide range of colors for us to choose.
The product launch was hosted by Atom Araullo who presented Erwan Heussaff as the brand ambassador for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 + Gear. Samsung Philippines chose well. Erwan cooks, blogs, and is an triathlon and will find the combination of the Note 3 and Gear working well for him.
The Galaxy Note 3 and the Gear work well together. You don’t need to get your phone from your pocket because you can answer calls from your watch. Galaxy gear comes in six vibrant colors. It is believed to be the new fashion icon around the world.

A pleasant surprise are the actors who are the principal characters of “My Husband’s Lover” often called the “TOMDEN”— Tom Rodriguez and Dennis Trillo. I think this is a wise move of Samsung Philippines who chose popular stars to push their latest products. I don’t often watch teleseryes but I ended up watching it out of curiosity since CBCP questioned its morality.
They are very good looking and charming and graciously accepted my repeated requests to have a photo with them.
“Ang kulit ko, ano?”. Who is the most attractive of the two?
Tom Rodriguez is really interested to learn more about the Samsung Note 3 as he fiddles with a Galaxy Note 3.
He even shows Dennis Trillo some of the cool features.

The Galaxy Note 3 LTE 32GB model will sell for Php36,990 and the Samsung Galaxy Gear will retail for Php 13,990. The two big telecoms, Smart and Globe started accepting pre-orders of the galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear combo but it is not clear on the pricing of their postpaid plans.
