Nokia Lumia 925 FREE with Smart Unlimited Data Plan 1500 on Aug 19

You all know I bought my yellow Nokia Lumia 920 a few months back. I knew that there was a Nokia Lumia 925 to be released in the the following months. But I didn’t think it would arrive this month since Nokia was slow to come out with the Nokia Lumia 920.

This latest addition to the Nokia Lumia family in the Philippines arrived today.

What makes this beautiful Nokia Lumia 925 different from my Lumia 920? Let’s count the ways:

1. Its signature-Nokia polycarbonate body is now encased in stylish aluminium. The aluminum casing is attractive to corporate users since some are not too fond of the bright and cheerful colors.

2. It looks so sleek at 8.5mm and much lighter with a weight of only 139 grams.

3. Its 8.7MP PureView camera is the same as the Nokia 920 but its Zeiss optics now has 6 physical lenses for higher level precision and delivers sharp and vivid images even in low light conditions.

4.The new Lumia 925 can shoot up to 10 images at once with Nokia Smart Camera.

You can edit the images taken with options like Cinemagraph, Action Shot and Change Faces. You can catch fast moves of sports events like that of your kid swimming or basketball players on the court . Imagine if you can capture the gorgeous display of fireworks in one perfect sequence during the holiday season?

5, You can “chop out” photo bombs or moving objects or people from your images, or even select the best facial expressions in pictures.

6. HERE Maps and Livesight is now in augmented reality. But this will also be available to Lumia 920 users as Windows 8 phone “amber” updates unfold in the coming weeks.

7.The ClearBlack technology and Sunlight Readability promises clear, bright images and text, and the best navigation, even under harsh glare from the sun.

I still love my Nokia Lumia 920. Just like the Lumia 925, I am still able to capture stunning images and record full HD video, even when the lights are low. Though the Lumia 920 is heavier, I have more space at 32 GB than the Lumia 925 which has only 16 GB. Also, my phone can be paired directly ith a wireless charger. With the Lumia 925, you will need to purchase the snap-on cover to turn the Nokia Lumia 925 into a wireless-charging enabled device.

No regrets! I will just wait for the Nokia 1020 which will come out towards the end of the year. But if you don’t own a Nokia Lumia 920, why not get your very own he Nokia Lumia 925.
