hey jeremiah, honestly android is one of the worst gadget i ever had...my brother brought it back to HK where is it was bought last year..its only a locked screen problem but since we no longer remember the gmail account that has been created to make the phone works..the fone was stucked in the cabinet for almost 6mos..no if you have the same problem as we do (locked screen)..you only need to key in the gmail account that has been created upon purchasing the G1 android.
better ask your aunt whats the gmail acct of that fone..hope it would you.

It does look quite clunky and awkward. Even if I like Google's web apps and its tight integration I don't think I'd be caught using that Google phone.
